Kiosk Iteration 1... Model

This model making process was a struggle.  I tried to mimic actual building materials which did not turn out well.  I spent hours soaking and bending wood, but most all of it ended up breaking!

Week two. Making it work... illustrations

Here I fill in some details of the kiosk.  The arch is filled with translucent circles of different sizes, with tints of colors creating a nice visual effect.

Week two. Making it work...Models

Models of my first iteration of the kiosk.  I've used cropped circles to create a fold-down platform and a counter space. I imagine the slave as having a closed, semi-private area, a sheltered area and an entirely open area.

Week three

The concept for this kiosk is based on cropped circles. As a designer, this was a challenge because I prefer working with straight edges and rough angles. The form of the model was inspired by the golden spiral.
