It's been a few years since I've been submerged in a creative community. I've learned a lot during my time outside of school- about myself, about life, about love, faith, hard work and priorities- but I know that this round, at 24, is my time to shine. Here is a quick sketch I took of the view from my studio desk. It was just a pencil drawing on white, rice paper so all of he color is digitally added. But this view, of the train track that stretches down the horizon, is one that I cherish.
